I have always prefer breeding and showing dogs then judging them, but then I realize I could do something more for the breed by judging dogs who are not bred by us…And it so exciting to try to find the best one and the closest one to the standard…
So I decided to become FCI judge and I successfully passed exams…so since 1998 I have been judging ALL BREEDS in VIII FCI Group.
Two years later I have passed more exams so I become INTERNATIONAL FCI JUDGE for ALL BREEDS in VIII FCI Group.
I judged very lightly during past few years, because I prefer to be consider as breed specialist, but here are some of my judging…

NATIOINAL DOG SHOW UB, SERBIA (2010-04-17)

Breed: Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Springer Spaniels,English Cocker Spaniel Best Of VIII FCI GROUP

Winner: BOG - ECS: LYNWATER SEA STAR, RBOG - LABRADOR RETRIEVER : CH LYNWATER BALLANTINES

I got really great pleasure to judge all breeds from VIII FCI Group, at National Dog Show in Ub. I've judge Goldens, Labs, Springers and, of course Cockers there. Had really good entery and found few really nice dogs in Goldens and Labs , a nice Springer Bitch and ALL COCKERS that were presented to me. I was glad to make three Champions on the day, they definitely deserved it.

Here are some photos, more at my FB profile: http://www.facebook.com/cockerboy?v=wall&story_fbid=127533390593304&r8188ff90&refid=0#!/album.php?aid=45764&id=1653834334

BOB - SILKSTYLE CRISTAL BLAZE (Swanawly Nordic Seal x Alfa Silkstyle)
BOS - ZLATNO RUNE POLAR STORM (Erinderry Night Dream x Zlatno Runo Blue Velvet)
I really felt in love with my BOB , junior bitch of really good quality. I've also liked my Best Dog, from Champion class...but she took my heart :-)
(Ub, 2010-04-17, photo by Bobana)

BOB - CH LYNWATER BALLANTINES (Ramsayville Route Sixty Six x Lynwater Irish Cream)
BOS - SOUTHERN STAR BELLISSIMA (Trendmaker's I Wish You Were Mine x African Queen Royal Standard)
My BOB was 6 years old Champion in full condition, greatly presented, actually the only labrador on the day that was properly presented.
I liked my Best Bitch , but yet she needed slightly better presentation to express her all over qualities.
(Ub, 2010-04-17, photo by Bobana)

BOB - ALISA - BELA (Marchello vom Lerchewwald x Vendi)
I liked this bitch, pity she lost her enthusiasm in final competition for Best Of Group.
(Ub, 2010-04-17, photo by Bobana)

BOB - LYNWATER SEA STAR (Lynwater Seahaze x Lynwater Sweet Nutmeg)
BOS - ALWAYS BE MY SUNSHINE (Jasenak Emperor x Diskatia None Sweeter)
I loved my Best Bitch (I always have), loved her type and outgoing movement, she was presented in lovely condition and I was really pleased to make her up to CHAMION on the day. Congrats to Sneza and Aleksa.
It was DEFINITELY the day of my Best Dog. It was too hot which made a lot of dogs little less enthusiastic, but HE had his day, he moved greatly and enjoyed every second being in the ring. Vesna presented him in lovely condition and I was really happy to make him up to CHAMPION (another one), give him BOB and later Best Of Group.
(Ub, 2010-04-17, photo by Bobana)

BOG - LYNWATER SEA STAR (Lynwater Seahaze x Lynwater Sweet Nutmeg)
RBOG - CH LYNWATER BALLANTINES (Ramsayville Route Sixty Six x Lynwater Irish Cream)
BOG 3 - SILKSTYLE CRISTAL BLAZE (Swanawly Nordic Seal x Alfa Silkstyle)
Should Mrs. Elizabeth Maclean send me a card ? This is a joke, I really like these dogs :-)

...and I really hope they picked up something from me:-)

I am quite sorry this is the only decent photo I have of gorgeous puppy bitch WILD THING BLACK PETRS ( Keaton Black Petrs x Breeze Black Petrs), ow. Sebastiani, because it can not even close present how really well made is she. I was delighted later when I found out she is out of my favorite bitch Breeze :-)

Yet, I was impressed the most of all dogs by sturdy bl&tan CH ROXICOCKER PALADINO ( Weeping Willow's Volvic x Maximates Vivorian Garb), ow. De Musso. Although it's not the secret I have soft spot for bl&tans, he was just the Best Dog for me there
(Biella, 2010-02-07, photo by Suzana)

My Best Bitch was, almost ten months old light blue bitch FRANCINI'S HASSEN MARY ( Francini's Obre x Los Ombues Xtreme), ow. Sebastiani. What can I say about her? I simply felt in love in her at the very first moment she appiered in the ring...her lovely type, balance and all over picture simply made me to forget how old (or better young) she is :-)
(Biella, 2010-02-07, photo by Suzana)

Final "checking out" of junior bitch, before I award Best Of Breed...and she has everything on the right place.
(Biella, 2010-02-07, photo by Suzana)

Here are BOB & BOS at "Trofeo Challenge Franca Simondetti" in Italy. I really don't know what is going on with me? At last four shows I judged English Cockers, in Italy, Belgium, Russia and Germany I was impressed the most by some blue bitch. I should seriously reconsider my (strong) decision to breed just solids :-)

INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW IN BELGRADE (2009-02-08)

Breed: Golden Retrievers

Winner: BOB : SWANAWLY NORDIC SUN ( Siatham Raynor x Swanawly San Simone), ow. Vuckovic S

I had a great pleasure to judge Golden Retrievers at INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW in Belgrade . I had more-less decent number of 36 entered dogs, but I was really flattered that all reputable breeders from Serbia entered their best dogs under me...

I have to say that there were ups and downs in quality of Goldens, BUT then all my Class Winners were of excellent quality and I am pretty sure thay could do well at any show in the World.

I was looking for the "MOST RETRIEVERY" Golden, trying to find well balanced, correct, strong but elegant dog...There were some very flashy and attractive dogs, who, maybe, would do even better in the Best In Show Ring, considering the fact it was ALL BREEDS Dog Show, but I decided to stick to the standard and tried to have my winner being honest, harmonic, typical Golden Retriever.

So here are my main results:

DOGS:

JUNIOR: SWANAWLY IMPERIAL PERIDOT (Nunsbrook Perigrine Falcon x Swanawly Silver Jade), ow: Vuckovic S. - JUNIOR BOB

INTERMEDIA: DEWIMIST DANDY KNIGHT (Inassicas Broom x Dewmist Days of Diamonds), ow: Andric S. - CAC

OPEN: MITCHERRON MEMPHIS (JW Rossglide Peregrine x Mitcherron Memphis Belle), ow: Parry P. - CAC

WORKING: ERINDERRY NIGHT DREAMER (Marjamez Midnight Cow x Erinderry Gaelic Breeze), ow: Davidovic N. - CAC & RCACIB

CHAMPION: SWANAWLY NORDIC SUN ( Siatham Raynor x Swanawly San Simone), ow. Vuckovic S - CAC, CACIB & BOB

BITCHES:

PUPPY: DEWMIST KILIDINI (Dewmist Side By Side x Dewmist Star Of Africa), ow: Andric S. - PUPPY BOB

JUNIOR: IRISH MAGIC DAISY (Erinderry Night Dreamer x Delta Long Step), ow: Borovcanin R. - JUNIOR BOS

INTERMEDIA : SILVER PASSION A MEMORY OF LOVE ( Ashbury Angel Heart x Swanawly Silver Jenny), ow: Radovanovic A. - CAC

OPEN: ZLATNO RUNO BLUE VELVET (Majestic x Dzorzija), ow: Verovski S. - CAC

WORKING: IRISH RAIN - EIRE "OF GOLDEN DUCK" ( Erinderry King Of The Blues x Erinderry May Star), ow: Davidovic N. - CAC, CACIB & BOS

CHAMPION: SWANAWALY NORDIC BREEZE (Siatham Raynor x Swanawly San Simone), ow: Vuckovic S. - CAC & RCACIB

So, my BOB was worthy Champion dog SWANAWLY NORDIC SUN ( Siatham Raynor x Swanawly San Simone), ow. Vuckovic S, of excellent type, size and balance, with beautiful head and expression, lovely neck and shoulders, excellent bone and feet, deep and wide chest and lovely forechest, nicely rounded ribs, compact and strong body with really typical hindquarters, presented in excellent condition. I would prefer more attractive movement, due the lack of his owner/handler skill, but then he was very sound and harmonic in movement...

My BOS was very elegant and attractive bitch IRISH RAIN - EIRE "OF GOLDEN DUCK" ( Erinderry King Of The Blues x Erinderry May Star), ow: Davidovic N. She was full of quality, excellent type size and balance, gorgeous head with soft expression, very nice neck and shoulders. Needs to develope more in chest and forechest, but with enough substance to draw my picture of strong and elegant Golden Retriever. Nice body and hindquarters. Moved very attractive. Pity her owner/handler took away her advantage.

I was honored later to judge VETERAN BEST IN SHOW , there were just two Veterans, so I found my VETERAN BIS in twelve years old Canishe Miniature, bitch ALABINA AFRICA OF ABRA-LEE CHARM ( Grafit Martin x Abra), ow: Petrovic Cetkovic G., followed by fourteen years old German Miniature Spitz, dog KEKEC "ALEN-BRUNSKI" (Couli Zahoracke Udolie x Huszkavrag Belladona), ow: Zivanovic M.

So, although I enjoyed every minute judging on this All Breeds show, have to mention I am looking forward to judge at Club Shows, where everything is so cooler :-))

CLUB SHOW IN ST.TRUIDEN, BELGIUM (2008-10-19)

Breed: English Cocker Spaniel, Field Spaniel & American Cocker Spaniel

Winner: BISS : ECS CH BILLSOR FEELIN BLUE & RBISS : AC COLORFULL'S ZARRA'S CHOICE

I had great pleasure to judge spaniels at Annual Club Show organized by BSCB in October the 19th 2008 in St. Truiden, Belgium. Organization was just perfect and everything went in spirit of upcoming Halloween. There were 50 dogs entered, not big number, but what really flattered me, was the fact that all reputable breeders in the area presented their best dogs under me. It was really pleasure going over those beautiful dogs. I have found a bit better quality in bitches, but anyway quality of cockers were generally very good. Beside English Cocker Spaniels, I have judged Field Spaniels and American Cockers as well.

So here are my main results:

Field Spaniels:

Dogs:

CH CORALMIST CALYPSO (Coralmist Correspodent x Country Melody at Coralmist), ow. Vangheluwe, Best Veteran & BOB

Bitches:

CH CORALMIST CLODENCE ( Woodgay Black Magic x Coralmist Carbon Copy), ow: Vangheluwe, CAC, Club Winner & BOS

American Cocker Spaniels:

Dogs:

AFTERGLOW SHAKESPEARE (Ch San Jo Return Of Saturn To Afterglow x Ch Afterglow Wigle Wigle), ow: Da Silva & Jason Lynn, CAC, Club Winner & BOS

Bitches:

COLORFULL'S ZARRA'S CHOICE ( Ch Colorfull's Jay Bee Surprise x Ch Zarra Collady Fly Mystery), ow: Van Zanten, CAC, Club Winner & BOB

English Cocker Spaniels:

Dogs:

CH SH SYMBIOSIS CLASSIC DESIGN ( Sh Ch Manchella Blue Lagoon x Symbiosis), ow: Van Empel, CAC, Club Winner & BOS

AIR FOX JUNIOR DU PALAIS DES TREIZE FENTERES (R'Fox de La Petite Pinochere x Royal Ascott De Quadragant), ow: Chichicilianne, RCAC

GIMMIKRY DE NOTRE CHAUMIERE ( Manaca's Earmarked Evidence x Epsy Yellow De Notre Chaumiere), ow: Colery, Best Junior Dog & JUNIOR BOB

Bitches:

CH BILLSOR FEELIN BLUE (Kyna By Design x Billsor Cry Baby Cry), ow: Feyaerts R&N, CAC, Club Winner & BOB

CH CHARBONNEL SUZETTE (Charbonnel Double Dutch x Ch Ch Charbonnel Lynette), ow:Hanson-Heinen, RCAC

GLORIA DU DOMAINE D'HAISHA (Charbonnel Dutch Touch x Elisa Du Domaine D'Haisha), ow: Hanson-Heinen, Best Junior Bitch

There wasn't hard decision in judgment of Field Spaniel. My BOB was still very strong and of best type, old gentleman of eleven years CH CORALMIST CALYPSO .Very handsome dog, correct in anyway. Wish I could see him in his best days of his life... My BOS went to another "oldie"nice lady of eight years, still in lovely condition, but I prefer type and balance of the dog.

In American Cockers, Club Winner Dog was, very attractive black dog AFTERGLOW SHAKESPEARE , very well made, presented in perfect condition. But my BOB was lovely black girl COLORFULL'S ZARRA'S CHOICE, who was of excellent type, size and balance and who was really outgoing with preferable top line then a dog...

Then I had to judge "my breed", English Cockers...Club Winner was blue roan dog CH SH SYMBIOSIS CLASSIC DESIGN , really nicely made, of excellent type, in glorious condition, presented till perfection. All my complements goes to Gerda Van Empel for such great presentation. My BOB was...aaaaaahhhhh, top quality bitch, light blue roan CH BILLSOR FEELIN BLUE . There is absolutely nothing that I would change on this girl. She is really great ambassador of her breed. Greatly presented, pushed really hard for the ticket by another really quality bitch, red CH CHARBONNEL SUZETTE, she just had that "something" which gave her advantage...till her Best In Show :-))

Number and quality of English Cockers were far better then of other breeds, so all my Best In Show awards went to them:

My BABY BISS was gorgeous dark blue bitch NICKEL AND DIMES RHYTHM AND BLUES ( Lapidary Freelander x Nickel And Dimes Forever Young), ow.Van Empel.

PUPPY BISS was very handsome young lad, liver roan XTRA SMART VON FREZEN FELD (Ch Over The Top Von Frezen Feld x Ch Louisiana Von Frezen Feld), ow. Schade

JUNIOR BISS was really lovely orange roan boy GIMMIKRY DE NOTRE CHAUMIERE ( Manaca's Earmarked Evidence x Epsy Yellow De Notre Chaumiere), ow: Colery

VETERAN BISS went to lovely red bitch KORDEN'S ZSA ZSA GOLDSTAR (Korden's Quick Tan Tail Boy x Korden's Abrazame Jolly Red), ow: Van Kordenoordt

BEST BRACE was made by mother and son, EPSY YELLOW DE NOTRE CHAUMIERE & GIMMIKRY DE NOTRE CHAUMIERE , ow: Colery

BEST GROUP was made by the same couple, plus lovely GIPSYENJI DE NOTRE CHAUMIERE, ow: Colery

Finally, my BEST IN SHOW was great LYNA - CH BILLSOR FEELIN BLUE (Kyna By Design x Billsor Cry Baby Cry), ow: Feyaerts R&N, followed by American Cocker COLORFULL'S ZARRA'S CHOICE ( Ch Colorfull's Jay Bee Surprise x Ch Zarra Collady Fly Mystery), ow: Van Zanten as RBISS.

I have to say I have found Belgium as beautiful country and their show scene...very interesting and I will do my best to come again on the same place to show our dogs.

SPANIEL CLUB SHOW IN ST. PETERSBURG (2008-03-16)

Breed: English Springer Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniels

Winner: BOB RUS IRENE’S EXPENSIVE JOY & JUNIOR BOB ALEN ASHEN CART BLANSH

After I finished my judgment at National Dog Show, I had great pleasure to finish my day by judging SPANIEL CLUB SHOW IN ST. PETERSBURG. It might sound like hard work, but for me judging all those nice dogs was just a cherry on the top of the cake :-) I really enjoyed every minute, I found this Club organized in fantastic way and several real enthusiasts with Mrs. Marina Grigoreva as their leader very experienced in organization, everything went so smooth and I really hope folks around the ring had some nice time there.

There were not so many Springers, but I have found few of them in really nice condition and of excellent quality. Cockers in Russia are , generally, of really good quality. I saw dogs of pure British type, then some Scandinavians…and some mixings of those two mentioned types. I guess everybody knows what I was searching for.

The full results you can see at following webpage: spanielclub.ru

And here are the main results:

ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIELS:

BOB was very attractive dog from Open Class OTRADA DOROGINI BUTLEGER (Mompession Jester x Otrada Dorogini Premia), ow: Podshivalov S., really nice dog of good type and nicely balanced and who moved in such smooth way…there was no question about his win.BOS went to charming lady of seven years from Open Class BEATRIS DE KASTRAN (Rem x Alfa Benni), ow: Gulenko V., who was still in great condition and presented herself in such nice way.

ENGLISH COCKER SPANIELS:

Best Baby (4-6m): Lovely bl&tan bitch BLACK FANTOM NOVEMBER REVOLUTION (Black Fantom Fort Nox x Black Fantom Kiss Me),ow: Grigoreva M., who still has to develop a lot, but who was in lovely shape and condition, very nice type and who presented herself in cute way.

Best Puppy (6-9m): Fantastic light blue roan dog ALEN ASHEN TOUR DE FRANCE (Lindringe Five Star x Alen Ashen Rose Marie), ow: E. And M. Kuskovy, who caught my eye from the very first moment he entered in the ring. Excellent type, really nice balance, lovely shape, perfect condition, great presentation...these are just some of his attributes. I hope he will great future in show rings.

Best Junior: JUNIOR BOB went again in Alen Ashen kennel, their dark blue bitch ALEN ASHEN CART BLANSH (Alen Ashen Johnnie Cake x Alen Ashen Simponia). Was simply stunning girl of excellent type, size balance and proportion. Everything was just so clean in her shape. Her condition and presentation were huge credit to her owners. She was hardly pushed by the second best bitch red RUS IRENE’S EXPRESSIVE AND NAUGHTY (Athos Black Peters x Rus Irene’s Nice and Wild), ow; Korobkova I. Outstanding young girl who was of type that I prefer even more then the first one, so attractive, so elegant and powerful at the same time... It was definitely my hardest decision of the day. But in the time I chose my Best Junior Bitch I didn’t know that in Russia Juniors are nor allowed to compete for Best of Breed, so I felt I was actually chose my eventual BOB and BIS then, so I have just found blue bitch more ready for it.

JuniorBOS was attractive black dog RUS IRENE’S ECLIPSE (Athos Black Peters x Rus Irene’s Nice and Wild), ow; Korobkova I, of quite havier type, but in nice balance, in great condition and with great presentation

Best Veteran: Great oldman who carried his TWELVE year so easily. This light blue roan and tan gentleman PHIL MARIS KRUSHON (Phils Bondy Maris x Juks Koti Maris), ow: Grigoreva M., was in really nice condition, big credit to his owner, lovely shape and still really nice mover.

In Russia BOB was awarded in each color and again I have found bitches to be in better quality, so all my BOBs went to ladies :-)

BOB in Black Cockers was lovely bitch from Champion Class BLACK FANTOM VIP FOR STARTORY PASSION (Tripol"s Greg of Field x Rus Irene's November News for Black Fantom), ow: Starikova V., really lovely bitch of excellent type, size and balance, in great condition and with excellent presentation. I haven’t found any black dog good enough to be my BOS.

BOB in Particolour Cockers was blue bitch from Open Class ALEN ASHEN DUENIA (Alen Ashen Don Kihot X Alen Ashen Simponia), ow: Bistrova E.Again excellent type, lovely shape fantastic condition, excellent mover...she was my Best Particolor without a question. BOS was very handsome blue roan from Intermedia Class BON LIRI BRANDY SNAP (Belworth Dansing Master X Evelin Lotos), ow: Shienok, very strong and compact dog, nicely balanced, excellent mover, just needed to mature.

BOB in Red Cockers was extraordinary bitch from Champion Class RUS IRENE’S EXPENSIVE JOY (Rus Irene"s Sex Pistol x Uyelle de Vaccares), ow: Plenkin V. She was simply of great type, nicely balanced in lovely shape and great condition. She was simply pushing me to watch at her all the time and think that every judge who cares about pure British type and over all appearience must take her for BOB.She was my imagination of (almost) perfect cocker. BOSS in Reds was attractive dog from Winners Class VISCOUNT DE BRASHELON (Tripol"s Greg of Field x Galaxy Paradise), ow: Kuznetsova E., very nice size and balance, fantastic condition and excellent presentation.

So, in final, I hade to chose and place color's BOBs, but I simply couldn’t take the fact that in final line up there wouldn’t be my JUNIOR BOB, bitch that I liked so much, so I invited her in ring, followed the rules of the Club, placed my BOBs in following way:

BOB1st was red RUS IRENE’S EXPENSIVE JOY (Rus Irene"s Sex Pistol x Uyelle de Vaccares), ow: Plenkin V.

BOB2nd was blue roan ALEN ASHEN DUENIA (Alen Ashen Don Kihot X Alen Ashen Simponia), OW: Bistrova E.

BOB3rd was black BLACK FANTOM VIP FOR STARTORY PASSION (Tripol"s Greg of Field x Rus Irene's November News for Black Fantom), ow: Starikova V.

But the medal of ENGLISH COCKER CLUB OF SERBIA, that I was allowed to give to the dog who impressed me the most went to junior ALEN ASHEN CART BLANSH (Alen Ashen Johnnie Cake x Alen Ashen Simponia).

Once again I have to say thank you to organizers of this wonderful show, Bobana and me had FANTASTIC time in St Petersburg, we are so happy to make some new friendships, we got some beautiful presents and...WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS FANTASTIC TIME IN RUSSIA !!!

NATIONAL DOG SHOW IN ST. PETERSBURG (2008-03-15)

Breed: Golden Retrievers. Labrador Retrievers, Flatcoated Retrievers and American Cocker Spaniels

Winner: BEST OF GROUP was Labrador Retriever MICONTI BALTIC BLUSE (Mailiksen Gentleman x Tawastway’s Hide’n’Seek), ow: N. Grebenkina

At NATIONAL DOG SHOW in St. Petersburg , organized by Kennel Association “KREDO”, I had a pleasure to judge Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Flatcoated Retrievers and American Cockers…and later I was judging VIII FCI Group and JUNIOR HANDLING. I do apologize in advance for any mistake in spelling the names of dogs (or owners).., it’s quite hard to read catalogue in Russian, so, please let me know for mistake and I will correct it.

So here are my winners:

In Goldens my BOB went to very handsome dog from Working class ESTEBAN GANTES GRIEN ( De Anrit Yank x Ambergold Dzhi Key Born Blessed), ow: E. Palena., very nice and tipy dog who really presented himself in smooth way.

BOS in Goldens went to cute bitch from Intermedia class GLADTAIL POWER OF LOVE (Voyage Du BoisDe Rayere x Eternal Fire Amazing Grance), ow:I Rodina, who was in really nice type, nicely balanced, but needed just a little better presentation to get BOB.

BOB and BOS in Labradors found two litter mates, both from Intermedia Class, brother MICONTI BALTIC BLUSE (Mailiksen Gentleman x Tawastway’s Hide’n’Seek), ow: N. Grebenkina, who took BOB and sister MICONTI BELLE LE TOILE (Mailiksen Gentleman x Tawastway’s Hide’n’Seek), ow: O. Antonova, who was BOS. Really nice dogs of lovely type, very compact with lovely expression. It was just the way the bitch was too happy and playful in the ring while I was choosing my BOB, so I took the trustful one.

In Flatcoated Retrievers, I haven’t found any dog who was ready to present the breed in the big ring.

American cockers were of really nice quality.I liked the black puppy bitch the most, she was simply gorgeous, but she wasn’t in competition for BOB. Anyway, my BOB in Yankees was orange roan dog from Junior class HAT BREIKA HAMBA VAN (J-R’s Rebel Strikes x Hat Breika Rainbow), ow: Minina, very attractive dog full of himself, very short and compact who moved in really nice way.BOS was black bitch from Open class FUTURE LINE FELICHE UHTI-TUHTI (Admiral’s Show Born To Run x O’Nikolleta), B Nilova, lovely bitch of really nice type, just needed to move more positively while I was choosing my BOB.

It was the first time, when I was the judge for VIII FCI group that English Cocker wasn’t win this group, but I didn’t find him good enough to be placed, so, at the end my BOG group went to Labrador Retriever MICONTI BALTIC BLUSE (Mailiksen Gentleman x Tawastway’s Hide’n’Seek), ow: N. Grebenkina and RBOG was Golden Retriever ESTEBAN GANTES GRIEN ( De Anrit Yank x Ambergold Dzhi Key Born Blessed), ow: E. Palena. The 3rd was American Cocker HAT BREIKA HAMBA VAN (J-R’s Rebel Strikes x Hat Breika Rainbow), ow:Minina.

I had a great pleasure to judge JUNIOR HANDLING and I have found several really really talented little handlers, but the biggest impression left so cute but really wise and smooth girl (please let me know her name) who handled...OK... English Cocker :-)

Organization of this show was very nice, I had wonderful team in my ring who took care about...everything, so I just had to judge. Many thanks to my translator who, although worked really hard, found a way and time to amuse me.

Well, I kept my little "tradition": All Best Of Breed awards went to females :-))But really, in every breed bitches were of much better quality (which is good for the breed, I believe) and I really need to see some OUTSTANDING dog before I would give him BOB...

In English Cocker Spaniels, I saw few really nice and well made dogs, but I wanted them to be in better body and coat condition to get Club Winner Title...So I took my chance and I decided to have my BEST DOG and BOS in ten months old black and white boy Abendstern von Schlos Hellenstein from Junior Class. Although in very tender age, I found him in really nice condition and quite matured. He was very attractive boy of good type, size proportion and balance. I loved his very nice head and expression, really nice (for the age) top line and he was one of rare dogs there who had really good rounded ribs and nice developed forechest. I also liked his hindquarters and he moved really nice showing his excellent temperament.

But my BOB in ECS was and OUTSTANDING dark blue roan bitch Ch Over And Over Again vom Frenzen Feld . Worthy champion of excellent type, size, proportion and in balance. She had very nice head and expression, excellent neck and shoulders, really nice sprung of ribs and excellent forechest, strong and compact body with excellent top line, excellent (ever wagging) tail set and carriage. She was in amazing condition, beautifully presented. Her hardest job was to win a class, because there was another bitch of great quality, light blue roan Ch Tiwa's Zuckerpuppe, who could also be a BIS winner that day...

There wasn't such big competition in ACS, my Best Dog and BOS was bl&tan dog, quite biggish, of good elegant type, with nice head and expression, correctly angulated, I would prefer more body and substance on him, but he was in excellent coat condition and very well presented, which helped me to see him as an excellent mover with great temperament.

My BOB in ACS was junior black and white with tan bitch, who was of excellent type, size and balance, of lovely feminine head and expression, with wonderful (for her age) sprung of ribs, excellent top line, really sound mover and who was greatly presented. I simply loved her coat condition and her, so sweet temperament!!!

My Best Dog and BOS in ESS was quite lucky that the other male, who was RCAC, wasn't move so positive in time when I decided who would be my Dog Clun Winner, but anyway he, Lelica's Catch Me If You Can , was dog of nice type, size, proportion and balance, with very nice neck and shoulders, nicely angulated in front, correct rib cage, who was in excellent condition and very nice mover, showing himself and his great personality.

But my BOB in ESS, was very quality bitch Ch Indian Spirit vom Springer-Clan, really elegant of excellent type, size and in nice balance, with beautiful head and expression, excellent neck and shoulders, nicely rounded ribs, good forechest, compact body with excellent top line, correctly angulated, with nice tail set and carriage. Really nice mover with plenty of reach, showing herself and her excellent temperament. Beautifully presented.

Finally, my BOB in Irish Water Spaniels, was Ch Donais Lucia van het Nardic Bastion , bitch of correct type, size and proportion, with lovely expression, really nice rounder ribs, but I would like more forechest, excellent bone and feet, really short and compact body with excellent top line, moved correctly with typical rolling. Excellent temperament .

In competition for BEST COUPLE, black English Cockers, Snoopy's Up To date and his sister, Snoopy's Ulyssa, won there .

Once again, thanks to all nice members of Jagdspaniel Club, for their hospitality, but specially to Christine, Claudia, Jan and Peter...

Natonal dog Show, Kragujevac (2007-08-26)

Breed: American Cocker Spaniel, English Cocker Spaniel, Junior Labradaor Retrievers and Junior Golden Retrievers

Winner: ACS : FOUR SEASONS ZORRO , ECS : BLACK LORD’S TAMAYA , LABRADORS: TAJRON & BOA BLACK SHERRY, GOLDENS: AOPLLO & NON-STOP GINSENG DAISY

My BOB in American Cocker Spaniels was very handsome black dog FOUR SEASONS ZORRO (Truly Yours Oh-So-Royal x Layton Extravagance) ow by Dusko Nikitovic, Bulgaria. I liked his over all picture, he really needs to develop, but he is still young and he will come to his own...I am sorry I couldn’t catch a chance to take photo with him...

BOB in English Cocker Spaniel went to BLACK LORD’S TAMAYA (Black Lord’s Joshua x Beatrice), br & ow Maja Horvat, Cro, lovely black bitch full of quality. I liked her type, size and proportions very much and I found her she was well balanced bitch, in any way. Her wonderful condition and presentation gave her advantage to win BEST OF BREED. She was later RBOG under Mr. David Todd (UK)

BOS in English Cocker Spaniels was very attractive black dog BLACK LORD’S SMASHING LAD (Moonshadow’s Red Sombrero x Victory Of Don Carlos County), ow Maja Horvat, CRO. I found him to be my best dog, he really deserved it, he was in great condition, full of substance and over all quality. He was just full of himself, while he was running , so I found bitch carried her tail better...and she won.

We have small club show for RETRIEVERS and I have judged Junior Labrador Retrievers, I didn’t find so much quality in Junior dogs, in fact I gave just one EXCELLENT and it was black dog TAJRON (Sango x Simonis Ennie), ow. Sanja Dojcinovic, SRB, who was my BEST JUNIOR DOG. Very strong dog, full of power and energy. Correctly made with very nice movement. His presentation could be better. Junior bitches were in much better quality, but I found my BEST JUNIOR BITCH in lovely black bitch BOA BLACK SHERRY ( Sango x Simonis Elisia), ow. Srdjan Armus, SRB. I really liked her type, size and balance and I liked her head and expression the most, so that was her advantage. She needs to develop more, I would like better top line and much better presentation, she was so excited, but I hope she will come to her own in time with maturity and more practice. Mr. David Todd, chose her later to be BEST JUNIOR IN BREED.

I have found more quality in Junior Golden Retrievers, both in dogs and bitches…My JUNIOR BEST DOG was APOLLO ( Nunsbrook Peregrine Falcon x Beti), ow. Nikola Sokovic, SRB, Beautiful dog of excellent type, size, proportion and balance, with really beautiful head and expression, presented in lovely condition and with such great, typical movement. I was delighted later, when Mr. David Todd gave him BEST OF BREED!!! My JUNIOR BEST BITCH was very feminine NON-STOP GINSENG DAISY (Erinderry King Of The Blues x Non-Stop Dio), ow. Svetlana Andric, SRB. I found her full of quality, of excellent type and I simply felt in love with her face !!! I wanted her more together with better top line, but I'm sure she will get it with maturity.

I was honored later to judge JUNIOR BIS Group VIII , so I gave JUNIOR BOG to beautiful blue roan dog BLACK LORD’S BORN TO BE WILD (Backhills I Like It x xBlack Lord’s New Sensation), ow. Maja Horvat, CRO, JUNIOR RBOG to golden retriever dog APOLLO ( Nunsbrook Peregrine Falcon ax Beti), ow. Nikola Sokovic, SRB and the third place went to Labrador retriever bitch BOA BLACK SHERRY ( Sango x Simonis Elisia), ow. Srdjan Armus, SRB.

I really enjoyed judging this show, atmosphere was lovely and really friendly, organization was just GREAT !!!
I saw few really nice cockers there, I was searching for true British type and typical sound movement for English Cockers and I wanted to see real Yankees in great moving action for American Cockers...And I found it:
My BOB in ECS was beautiful black bitch Tihany's Ain't She Sweet , of preferable type , nicely balanced and such sweet temperament with lovely feminine head and expression, strong and well built body structure, very correct angulations, very typical and sound movement, in superb condition, presented till perfection...

I have seen my BOS , lovely black dog Int Ch, Ch Sz, F Cornbow Limited Edition, when he was just a puppy and then I liked him A LOT !!! But he needed soooo long time to mature and finally now in his fifth year he looks as cocker male should look like...Lovely type ,very well balanced with lovely head and expression, strong, well built, compact body, in sound, stylish movement with plenty of drive...showing off himself...I just wanted him to be better groomed, he deserved it...that's why he lost BOB...

Definitely, my heart went to ACS bl&tan bitch...she should be named "Pure Elegance" or "Example Of Elegance" or...whatever can describe her in such way...What a picture she was while moving...mmmmmm I really loved it !!! I noticed that in Germany, there are a lots of quite biggish Yankees, but she was just perfect, little girl in great type, balance and appearance...She was shown in Intermediate class and yes, she needed little more coat to fulfill my imagination for Best In Show...that's why my English cocker bitch won...and I am ECS breeder at the and :-)))

My BOS in ACS was buff dog of excellent type and, generally great qualities...but he simply couldn't do nothing in competition with little bl&tan angel... So, once again, I picked up girls to be my winners, but they really deserved it!!!

Once again, thanks to all nice members of Dautchland Cocker Club, for their hospitality, but specially to Rita and Kristin...
